How to Generate SSS PRN
Log in to SSS mobile banking app using your User ID and password.
- Tap Generate PRN/SOA option
- At the top right corner, tap Create>Generate
- Select Membership Type (Voluntary or OFW). Tap the dropdown arrow to select the type of membership.
- Select Applicable Period (From) – Month and Year. Tap the dropdown arrow to select the month and year.
- Select Applicable Period (To) – Month and Year. Tap the dropdown arrow to select the month and year. You can choose the same month in “From” and ‘To” if you are paying for only one month.
- Select SSS Contribution amount. Tap the dropdown arrow to select the amount you wish to pay.
- The Total Amount will automatically fill in the field.
- Tap Submit.
How to Pay SSS Online Using Cellphone or Mobile Phone
You can use any mobile banking app with SSS available as a merchant. In these steps, I will show you how to use UnionBank mobile banking app in paying online my monthly voluntary contributions. This is applicable to self-employed members or Voluntary Members.
- From the Dashboard, tap Pay Bills button at the bottom of the app.
- Select BILLER LIST. Type SSS in the search bar, then select Social Security System (SSS).
- Type the PRN generated from the SSS mobile app, then tap “Next”. You can copy the PRN from SSS mobile app and paste into the UnionBank PRN’s field.
- Review and Pay.
- Tap the Pay button if correct. Confirm payment with your One Time Password (OTP).
- Payment Successful
Your will also receive a text message or email from your bank about the transaction with its details on it. If you opted to receive messages/email on every transaction, most likely you should receive the notification of the transaction made right after.
How to Check SSS Payment Online Using Cellphone
Payments made to SSS using UnionBank mobile or online banking app posted immediately. So you may want to check it if your payment is really posted? Here’s an easy way to check it using your own mobile phone too.
- Log in to SSS mobile app. Enter User ID and password to sign in.
- Tap the My Contributions to see that the payment has been posted.
- You’ll see posted SSS contributions as below.
You can also pay SSS using the online banking facility using your laptop or PC.
